FINDINGS:
During the 2026 Hydrotreater Turnaround, visual inspection of PKG-6 Reactor Effluent Line revealed corrosion that exceeded the acceptance criteria per API 570 section 7. Refer to the information below for specific dimensions of the aforementioned defects.
Insulation removed at six hangers, three show active CUI with up to 0.090 in loss.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Option 1: Grind, re-measure, re-coat and re-insulate the three affected shoes.
JUSTIFICATION(S):
CUI is active and will keep running under the jacket if it is closed back up as found.
