Findings
Localised pitting to 0.062 in deep at the nozzle ID. Post-grind UT confirmed 0.318 in remaining against a 0.280 in t-min.
Acceptance criteria
API 510 section 7
Recommended options
- Blend grind to a 3-to-1 taper and re-measure.
Justification
Pitting removed by grinding leaves the wall above the required minimum, so no weld repair is needed.
