PT revealed linear indications at the ring-to-shell fillet at 30, 150 and 270 degrees, the longest 2.4 in. No through-wall indication.

Recommended options
- Grind to sound metal, re-weld with matching filler, PT to confirm removal.
Justification
Cracked support welds carry the packing bed load. Left as found they propagate under thermal cycling and drop the bed.
