Findings
Tube ends in the inlet pass are wire-drawn to a depth of 1.5 to 2 in. Fourteen tubes are beyond the plugging criterion.

Recommended options
- Option 1 (recommended): plug the 14 affected tubes and ferrule the remaining inlet pass.
- Option 2: retube. Not achievable within the outage window.
Justification
Ferrules stop the erosion mechanism at the tube inlet, and 14 plugs is 4.9 percent of the bundle, inside the allowable.
